Your maps defiantly deserve more than *1 but the Ubi ranking system does not. So don't worry about it. The true rank of your map is determined from what peoples personal opinion of your creation is and whether they do or do not like playing them. Believe me. You and many others know exactly what you and others deserve to be rated and it is definitively not 1*.

YES, I noticed this when I got on far cry and looked at my map. unfortunately it is broken (still) and it is likely that they won't change it.

I never thought my maps had accurate ratings anyway. I heard that one reason is because if a person doesn't vote on a map, the game reads it as 1 star. Another reason is because people don't get it. Example: my Half-Life 2 Ravenholm map, that map is a 5 star map. It's not made for combat based for large teams . It's for small teams, but first and foremost, it's a replica map. Anyone that remembers the level in Half-Life 2 will know it's a 5 star map. Anyone who hasn't played it, which is most people I've met on FC2, or haven't played it in a long time, just don't get it. That's my best map, just not in a combat sense. But because people never played the game, It's also the lowest star ranked map I have.
I wish that when you chose to rate a map, a small description by the maker was shown on the side. That way I could say, "This is a perfect Far Cry 2 replica of a level in Half-Life 2. This is not a combat based map. It is to pay tribute to Valve's Half-Life 2.
